About Dean Steve Eccles
Steve Eccles is the regional CEO and dean of Northeastern University’s campus in Vancouver, British Columbia. He brings a unique background to his role at Northeastern, combining corporate C-suite executive experience with postsecondary education innovation and leadership. With a shared values-based approach to building teams and supporting student success, he focuses on education and workforce development strategies that secure positive economic and social outcomes for British Columbia.
Prior to joining Northeastern, Dean Eccles was the dean of the School of Computing at British Columbia Institute of Technology. He’s also previously led the Centre for CEO Leadership at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. Additionally, he has over a decade of experience in the financial sector including his role as VP of Investments at HSBC Global Asset Management.
