Northeastern University’s Office of Global Services (OGS) Canada invites you to attend our upcoming information sessions, offered exclusively to international students who have been admitted to one of Northeastern University’s Canadian campuses.

Please plan to attend one session from each list below, choosing the time that best fits your availability.

Pre-arrival Orientation

This session will explore essential topics for international students who have been admitted to one of Northeastern’s Canadian campuses, including:

  • Getting ready for your studies: Get tips to ensure a smooth transition to life at Northeastern.
  • Next steps after visa approval: Learn about important mandatory actions to take once you receive your visa.
  • Contact information: Know who to reach out to for support.
  • FAQ and Q&A: Get your questions answered in real time.

  • July 23, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET
  • August 20, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET

Social Insurance Number (SIN) Workshop

A Social Insurance Number (SIN) is required for all international students before you begin any work in Canada. OGS Canada invites an officer from Service Canada to present on the process for applying for your SIN using the online application.
