Master of Science in Applied Psychology

Northeastern’s Master of Science in Applied Psychology students are able to elevate their knowledge base, increase their earning potential, and prepare for doctoral training through coursework in evidence-based psychology principles and methods. Gaining core competencies in areas of the behavioral health lifecycle empowers our students to better understand the development and application of well-tested practices and strategies for the promotion of mental health and well-being among individuals, as well as youth and families.

The MS in Applied Psychology program is designed to provide graduates with training for evidence-based principles of applied psychology and to further develop competencies in critical areas of the field. The program is 30 credits and is intended to be completed in two semesters.
