The career trends in communications and marketing are clear – the demand for professionals with digital skills is sky high and growing rapidly with 46,200 new jobs expected to be available by 2020 (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2020). Digital channels (search engines, websites, social media, email, mobile, etc.) and technology have transformed what it means to be a communication or marketing specialist.
