Master of Public Health

If you are passionate about topics like health policy, health technology and informatics, mental health, local health, environmental health, and public health leadership and advocacy, Northeastern University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) programs are right for you.

Our MPH programs:

  • Blend in-classroom training with real-world experience.
  • Connect students with our innovative experiential network in the public health sector through a required 200-hour, community-based practicum experience.
  • Support students as they develop or take on projects of mutual interest to both the student and a public health partner in a range of diverse public health practice settings through the capstone experience.
  • Can be completed 100% online, on ground, or in a hybrid format (combination of online and on ground).
  • Are designed with working professionals in mind.
  • Are available full time or part time.
  • Are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health, and have membership in the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health.
