Master of Arts in Security and Intelligence Studies

Northeastern University’s Master of Arts in Security and Intelligence Studies helps you prepare to take a leadership role in the security field with our unique multi-organizational approach.

Our unique interdisciplinary approach merges security, law, politics, and constitutional rights to create well-rounded security leaders. You’ll be able to gain and hone skills in intelligence collection and dissemination, analysis, research, threat assessment, and evaluation of information and policy development while focusing on the importance of civil liberties in pursuing security in civil society.

You’ll learn from security experts, each with at least 20 years of teaching and security and intelligence experience. They’ll share their experiences as constitutional lawyers, White House advisors, CIA operatives, military intelligence officers, and more.

Create the security career you want with three tracks to focus your degree on: strategic intelligence and analysis, homeland security and emergency management, or corporate security management. Plus, you’ll have a broad range of electives to choose from.
