Master of Science in Game Science and Design. Northeastern University’s Master of Science in Game Science and Design gives students a comprehensive understanding of how successful game products are created with a focus on playability and the science of game development. Through experience-driven education, you’ll develop a deep understanding of playability and analytics that drive successful games in a competitive space.
Jointly offered by Northeastern’s College of Arts, Media, and Design and Khoury College of Computer Sciences, this is a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary program that will prepare you to meet the game industry’s need for weaving together science and design. You’ll acquire a comprehensive skill set that combines knowledge of development with evaluation methods and player behavior and psychology.
