Sustainable solutions to produce and utilize energy is one of today’s most pressing global challenges. As such, the demand for individuals with the proper training in the combination of engineering, business, and policy to lead efforts to design and implement these solutions is on the rise.
With the interdisciplinary Master of Science in Energy Systems program you will learn current and future energy systems technologies, integrate energy-related technologies with the economics and financial considerations required to implement them, and develop leadership and decision-making skills to implement energy systems in either the private or public sectors of the global market. You also have the opportunity to gain industry experience with our top-ranked cooperative education program.
Students who have first-year calculus, physics, and chemistry but no exposure to thermos-sciences can pursue the MS in Energy Systems-Academic Link program path, which provides the necessary education in thermodynamics and math to be successful in the energy systems program.
