Mills College at Northeastern University prepares educators for meaningful and impactful careers in primary, secondary, and higher education environments. Our graduates are visionary leaders who change lives, transform communities, and champion educational access for all. Our experiential framework prepares practitioners to lead in their professions and step into roles such as assistant principal, principal, dean, instructional coach, district-level leader, educational consultant, or director.
Our graduate education program provides a strong foundation in both theory and practice. Close ties with Bay Area school districts enable all students to participate in fieldwork placements and to influence classroom focus areas. The program is designed to accommodate the lives of working professionals or those just entering the field.
The MA in Educational Leadership program meets the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing requirements for the preliminary Administrative Services Credential.
