Northeastern’s Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) in Healthcare Leadership is an innovative, online doctoral degree open to all medical professionals who are ready to launch the next phase of their careers.
Healthcare leadership careers are growing, with jobs for medical and health services managers expected to grow 29 percent by 2033, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In the DMSc in Healthcare Leadership program, you’ll gain the leadership, administration, education, and advocacy skills necessary to address pressing challenges across the medical sciences. You’ll also deepen your knowledge in public health, business management, pharmacy and health systems sciences, or another specialty area.

A first-of-its-kind program
Northeastern’s DMSc in Healthcare Leadership is the first degree of its kind to be offered at an R1 research institution. It’s open to students of all healthcare backgrounds, creating a community of diverse perspectives and backgrounds throughout the medical sciences.
Designed for working professionals
Our online program was created to accommodate the schedules of working medical professionals, allowing you to study whenever and wherever is most convenient for you. The program takes two years to complete and offers multiple electives and concentrations.
