Master of Science in Biotechnology

If you want to pursue a career solving humanity’s most daunting healthcare and environmental challenges, Northeastern University’s Master of Science in Biotechnology program will prepare you for success. Biotechnology is rapidly transforming everything from medicine to agriculture, and highly skilled researchers, managers, and technical professionals are in high demand. This Toronto-based program brings you advanced interdisciplinary training in biotechnology, biology, chemistry, and pharmaceutical sciences—combined with the business skills you need to thrive in the biotech, life sciences, and pharmaceutical industries.

In our program, you will:

Domestic Canadian students admitted to on-ground programs in Toronto for fall 2026 or spring 2027 receive a minimum 25% scholarship and may be eligible for up to 50% based on academic standing. International students may qualify for program-specific awards. All scholarships are subject to verification and applicable restrictions.
