Master of Science in Nonprofit Management

With a Master's in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University, you'll gain real-world experience while you build the leadership and business skills needed to tackle the unique challenges facing the nonprofit sector.

  • Gain real-world experience. Work with a local organization through your coursework and capstone and experiential projects, and participate in our signature optional co-op program. 
  • Select the learning format that meets your needs. Earn your degree 100% online, on ground at our Boston or Seattle campuses, or in a hybrid format that combines the two.
  • Customize your coursework with five concentrations: fundraising, leadership and communication, project management, social innovation, or social media and analytics.
  • Forge connections with a powerful network of alumni. They are driving change at some of the world's most influential nonprofits, including City Year, Pine Street Inn, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Dana Farber, and The President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.
  • Learn from thought leaders in nonprofit. Our faculty have had hands-on experience in the field and have their own network of influential connections in the industry.
