Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence

This program incorporates elements of computer science, machine learning, and software engineering—enabling you to prepare for a position in AI research, operations, software, or hardware development, or a doctoral degree in a sector poised for explosive growth. When applying to this program, you will be able to choose from two concentrations in Khoury College of Computer Sciences or from three concentrations in the College of Engineering.

Graduate Certificate in AI Applications

This graduate certificate is designed for professionals looking to harness the power of AI within their respective industries who may not have prior programming experience. The program features real-world application through domain-level specializations, including business, health sciences, data mining and engineering, media industries, or policy and regulation.

Master of Professional Studies in Applied AI

Designed for professionals from diverse disciplines, interested in stepping into a more technical field with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to harness the transformative potential of artificial intelligence.This program prepares students for the evolving technology landscape with curriculum that focuses on building and implementing AI and machine learning (ML) technologies, with specializations in conversational AI, machine learning for cybersecurity, 3D imaging, and a range of electives.

This program is designed to be an introductory AI option for those without prior experience in engineering, computer technology, or statistics, making accessibility a cornerstone. Students in this program complete an additional nine semester hours of credit, with courses that provide intensive, hands-on guidance into the essential knowledge required for the Master of Professional Studies in Applied AI curriculum.

Align Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence

This program is designed for motivated students and professionals without a computer science (CS) background. Break into Artificial Intelligence with Align. Start with a two-semester introductory bridge to build a foundation in CS. Then dive into master’s-level AI courses—machine learning, computer vision, robotics, intelligent interaction, and more—all with a human-centric focus. Study full or part time, gain experience with an optional paid co-op or internship, connect with Khoury College’s 800+ employer partners, and graduate in as little as 2.5 years ready to lead in AI. All you need is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
