AI and machine learning technologies are impacting businesses across every industry, and professionals who can harness the power of these technologies can shape the future. Northeastern University’s Master of Professional Studies in Applied AI and Master of Professional Studies in Applied AI—Connect programs give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to develop and implement AI-based solutions in your organization, no matter your technical background.
The Applied AI—Connect program is designed for individuals without a background in computer science or statistics. You’ll begin with nine semester hours of foundational, skill-building courses before joining your peers in the Applied AI program. Together, you’ll learn how to combine computer science and analytical skills with functional government and industry expertise, creativity, and leadership as you solve pressing global challenges.
Launching in Fall 2026 in Arlington, both programs are offered with flexible full-time or part-time options. You can tailor your studies through three optional concentrations and gain real-world experience through an optional, full-time, paid co-op via Northeastern’s top-ranked co-op program.
