You don’t need a background in tech to have a future in it. All you need is curiosity—and opportunity. Join other curious students and professionals with no tech background to learn about the flexible pathways—both online and in person—to a master’s degree in computer science.

At any Break into Tech event, you will:

  • Get insights into today’s challenges in artificial intelligence and computer science—and how you might solve them.
  • Discover how the Align master’s program creates flexible pathways to tech careers for learners from all disciplines.
  • Explore next steps to build the skills and confidence you need to succeed in this fast-changing field.

In-Person Break into Tech: 

  • Join us for an informative session and interactive activities that introduce computing concepts. Take this opportunity to connect with the Khoury community in Vancouver, and see how your unique background can help you thrive in tech.  

Virtual Break into Tech: 

  • Join a Zoom session with Khoury College faculty to explore emerging topics, current projects, and innovative research shaping the future of computing. Hear how people from all fields—arts, business, healthcare, and more—are finding their place in tech.
Please note: Participants must hold a bachelor’s degree or be nearing college graduation. Your full name is required when registering for the event. If the event is in person, you may be requested to show your photo ID; please ensure your registered name matches your name as listed on your ID.
