This program incorporates elements of computer science, machine learning, and software engineering—enabling you to prepare for a position in AI research, operations, software, or hardware development, or a doctoral degree in a sector poised for explosive growth. When applying to this program, you can choose between eight concentrations offered by Khoury College of Computer Sciences, College of Engineering, or Bouve College of Health Sciences.

This program is designed to be an introductory AI option for those without prior experience in engineering, computer technology, or statistics, making accessibility a cornerstone. Students in this program complete an additional nine semester hours of credit, with courses that provide intensive, hands-on guidance into the essential knowledge required for the Master of Professional Studies in Applied AI curriculum.

Align Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence

This program is designed for motivated students and professionals without a computer science (CS) background. Break into Artificial Intelligence with Align. Start with a two-semester introductory bridge to build a foundation in CS. Then dive into master’s-level AI courses—machine learning, computer vision, robotics, intelligent interaction, and more—all with a human-centric focus. Study full or part time, choose between two concentrations either in machine learning or health data, gain experience with an optional paid co-op or internship, and graduate in as little as 2.5 years ready to lead in AI. All you need is a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
